PLYMOUTH Mariners Baseball Club started their autumn/winter training on Sunday.

The club had a good turn out with quite a few new players turning up.

The Mariners, who play in the South West Baseball League, are always looking for new people who might be interested in taking up the sport.

They offer a free taster session for males or females over the age of 14. Their next training session will be this coming Sunday (September 11) at the purpose-built baseball diamond in Central Park (10am).
