TAVISTOCK Athletic Club teenager Tess Masselink was first women home in the Burrator 10k on Sunday.
The Callington Community College pupil came ninth overall in the scenic race around the Dartmoor reservoir.
She clocked 38 minutes and 30 seconds to finish ahead of Erme Valley’s Cleo Perry, who was second and first female over-40 in 38.54.
Nailsea’s Vanessa Cook was third women home in 40.13, with Tavistock’s Samantha Lake fourth in 41.36.
Exmouth’s Tom Merson won the men’s race in 33.20. He finished more than a minute ahead of Rob Mann, who clocked 34.23 to finish second.
Maverick’s Daryl Milford was third (36.44), James Dwyer fourth (36.52), Ben Pugh fifth (37.32) and Erme Valley’s Allister Bristow sixth (37.58).
More than 450 runners completed the race, which was organised by Wild Night Run.
