PLYMOUTH Argyle ended their 2023-24 FA Women’s National League Premier Division season with a 2-1 home defeat at Milton Keynes Dons.
The visitors took the lead in the 13th minute when Zoe Creaney fired them ahead following a corner.
But the Pilgrims equalised before the break with a goal from Ellie Sara.

Argyle pressed for an equaliser and Georgie Knott and Sara both came agonisingly close, but the home side just could not find the net.
Despite the defeat in their final match, Argyle finished ninth in the table to guarantee another season in the third tier of the English women’s football pyramid.
