HOST club Plymstock Oaks claimed victory in the weather-hit Plymouth Combination Sevens tournament at Horsham Fields on Sunday.

Oaks finished the day unbeaten, overcoming Marjons 32-0, Plympton Victoria 34-7 and last year’s winners Peninsula Medical School 26-19 in their group games.

The Medics, who had won the competition for the previous two seasons, claimed second place and the HMS Plymouth Shield, while Plympton Victoria finished third ahead of Marjons.
