NEARLY 3,000 runners completed the Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday.

The popular race was won for a second year running by Tamar Trotters’ Jacob Landers. He clocked 1:09.17 to beat his club colleague Mike Wilsmore to the title. Wilsmore claimed second, with Thomas Wraight third.

Louise Flynn secured the women’s title in 1:21.12, with Hannah Smith second and University of Plymouth’s Ellie Robinson third.

There were also 10k and 5k races on the day.

Newquay’s Clive Robinson and Tavistock’s Sam Lake claimed victories in the 10k event, while City of Plymouth’s Isaac Lamerton and Hayley Smith won the 5k title.
