PLYMOUTH Argaum will try for a second time to host city rivals OPMs at Bickleigh Down in Counties Two Devon on Saturday.
The original match pencilled in for earlier this month was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Snow, hail and heavy rain have battered the ground this week, but the club are hopeful that it will be playable with dry weather forecast for Saturday.
“It’s our last home game of the season so we are very much looking forward to finishing on a high,” said Argaum head coach Dean Avery.
“We just want to put a good performance in against OPMs. We were disappointed we didn’t get a result at their place. Hopefully we’ve got good availability.”
Argaum lost 22-20 away at OPMs in November after they missed a late kick to win the match.
The Roborough-based club do go into this weekend’s game on the back of a morale-boosting 40-29 away victory over Ivybridge II, which guaranteed they will not finish in the bottom two.
OPMs, meanwhile, are keen to bounce back from their disappointing 66-0 home defeat to champions Barnstaple II in their last outing.
After that loss captain Billy Garratt said: “We just have to go back to the drawing board, work out what went wrong in the game and go forward.
“We have two games left and if we can go out with two wins that would be great.”
