ERME Valley Harriers youngster Nathan Brown claimed his second victory in the Armada Athletics Winter 3k Series at Central Park on Wednesday night.

Brown had finished first in December’s run and he once again lead everyone home in February’s race in a quick time for the course of nine minutes and 56 minutes.

That was eight seconds faster than he had clocked to win December’s run.

University of Plymouth’s Michael Jarvis was second on Wednesday night in 10.00, with Plymouth Harriers’ Chris Aldridge third in 10.31.

There was a good battle in the women’s race between Brenda Anderson and Plymouth Harriers’ Ami Yetton.

Anderson came home first in 11.21, with Yetton clocking 11.27.

Yetton’s Plymouth Harriers’ team-mate Jane Allison was third women home in 12.02.

The final Winter 3k Series run will take place Wednesday, March 9.
