IVYBRIDGE TOWN move back into second position in the CSWPL Premier Division after a 3-1 home win over Witheridge.
The home side had led 2-0 at the break and never really looked like losing to keep the pressure on leaders Saltash.
But there was disappointment for last season’s champions Plymouth Parkway, who conceded a late goal to lose 3-2 away at Cullompton Rangers.
The home side had looked in command when goals by Badavi and Dan Baily had fired them into a 2-0 half-time lead.
But Parkway hit back after the break and levelled thanks to strikes by Levi Landricombe and Chris Wright.
However, with time running out, the visitors had Chris Coulton sent off for a second bookable offence and Cullompton took advantage with Baily netting the winner in the 89th minute.
In Division One West, third-placed Vospers Oak Villa enjoyed a 3-2 away win at Wadebridge.
