Pentathlon GB have made an impressive start to 2019 and at the weekend won four medals at World Cup 4. They will be hoping to build on that momentum at the first major championship of the season in Drzonkow.
Pillage, 21, will be the most experienced member of the squad, having appeared at three of this year’s World Cups and having won a team medal at last year’s senior World Championships.
Bryson, 20, has also appeared in a World Cup event this year and medalled at the recent Czech Open Championships.
Joining them in the British team will be Olivia Green, Georgia Hannam, Bradley Sutton, Oliver Murray and Will Howard.
The competition starts with the mixed relay on Monday, which will be followed by the women’s and men’s relay. The individual competitions start with women’s qualifying next Thursday and culminate with the men’s final on Sunday, June 9.
