Plymouth Life Centre to once again host British National Diving Cup

PLYMOUTH’S Life Centre will once again host the British National Diving Cup in 2019.

The event will be held between February 1 and February 3 and will see the country’s top divers in action.

It will be the fifth time in seven years that Plymouth has hosted either the National Cup or the British Championships at the start of the diving year.

And it will once again be followed by Plymouth Diving’s own Armada Cup which will take place between February 16 and February 19.

Britain will also host a FINA World Series diving event in 2019. That will take place at the London Aquatics Centre in May.

Rebecca McCreath, director of events and communications at British Swimming said: “Next year will be a huge one for our athletes being so close to Tokyo 2020.

“Having so many domestic and international competitions on British soil will give fans plenty of opportunity to see current, and future Olympic and Paralympic medalists.”
