Bryson named in GB squad for inaugural European Under-24 Championships

PLYMOUTH pentathlete Kerenza Bryson has been selected to compete for Great Britain at the inaugural European Under-24 Championships in Poland this month.

The event will take place in Drzonkow between October 17 and October 21.

Bryson is one of six athletes in the GB team. She is joined by Jess Varley, Zoe Davison, Amy Silk, Bradley Sutton and Jamie Harper.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a strong year in her first season as a junior aged athlete, qualifying for the final on her World Cup debut in Cairo in March, finishing 26th.

She then went on to finish 22nd at the Junior World Championships and was the only British female athlete to qualify for the final in Hungary.
