Women offered the chance to try rugby for free on Tuesday at Devonport

DEVONPORT Services are hoping women in the Plymouth area will take advantage of a free chance to try rugby on Tuesday evening.

Services have been selected by the RFU to host an Inner Warrior Camp.

The camp will be a fun-packed, commitment-free way for females to try the sport for the first time.

RFU coaches will be on hand to introduce the basis of rugby – passing, kicking and tackling.

The camp is one of just 30 ‘amplified’ Inner Warrior camps that will be held around the country.

It is open to all ages, from juniors through to seniors, but Services are particularly keen to attract over-18s to the event.

There will be goodies on offer and a free glass of Prosecco will be available to over-18 afterwards.

The camp, which will be held at Devonport Services’ Rectory home ground, runs from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Women can just turn up on the night, but more information can be obtained from Kieran Leach at
