ROYAL Navy flanker Jarrad Hayler will represent Saracens in Friday night’s Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series at Franklin’s Gardens.
The 21-year-old, who played for Plymouth Albion last season, has spent this month training with the European champions, alongside his Navy team-mate and Fylde back-rower Dave Fairbrother.
Saracens forward Kelly Brown has been coaching the Royal Navy and invited the pair to train with the Premiership club this summer.
Saracens face Northampton Saints, Gloucester and Harlequins in their Premiership Rugby 7s Series pool.
Harrison Cully and Joe Simmonds, who have been loaned to Albion next season, helped Exeter Chiefs win last week’s Premiership Rugby 7s Series event at Sandy Park. Former Albion fly-half Billy Searle featured for Bristol in that round.
