PLYMOUTH Diving’s Tonia Couch, Sarah Barrow and Dan Goodlfellow have all been named in the Great Britain squad for next month’s FINA World Cup event in Brazil.

Plymouth-born Tom Daley, who now trains in London, is also named in the 15 person squad for the Rio competition, which is an Olympic test event.

Final quota places for this summer’s Olympic Games will be up for grabs at the World Cup.

Couch and Daley have already qualified GB individual platform quota places by reaching finals at last year’s World Championships.

However, Britain has not yet qualified for either the men’s or women’s platform synchro events, while there is still an individual place in both competitions up for grabs.

The World Cup, which takes place between February 19-24, will also allow the GB divers the chance to get used to competing outdoors.
