IVYBRIDGE and Devonport Services under-16s will get the chance to run out at Plymouth Albion’s Brickfields ground in just over a month’s time.
The pair will play each other in a warm-up game for the 11th Medics Rugby Challenge where the Medical Students take on the Royal Marines.
The Medics Rugby Challenge will take place on Tuesday, November 9. The under-16 match will start at 5.30pm with the main game kicking off at 7.30pm.
Ivybridge and Services met in a precursor for that big match on Sunday at Cross-in-Hand.
The Bridgers, captained by Max Bryan and wearing their new kit, won 24-0.
Services defended really well but Ivybridge took a 10-0 half-time lead with Paul Mears-Baldwin and James Pullen scoring first half tries.
After the interval, George Partridge scored a fine team try from a line-out move involving Ben Winters and Ben Bryan before Ollie Hick added a final try after a neat pass from Nick Lilley. Ben Lavers added two good conversions.
