PLYMOUTH Leander’s Laura Stephens ended the Luxembourg Euro Meet by picking up a second medal of the three-day competition.
Having won gold in the 200m butterfly on Friday, Stephens added bronze in the 200m IM on Sunday evening with a 2:17.49 swim.
She was only beaten by world record holder and Olympic champion Katinka Hosszu and European bronze medallist Maria Ugolkova.
In the B final, Leander’s Lana Broekhoven finished second in 2:22.79. She had earlier in the evening won the B 100m breaststroke in 1:12.46.
There was an impressive swim by fellow Leander swimmer Honey Osrin, who reached the A 200m backstroke and finished fourth in 2:16.40.
Team-mate Franka Wilke finished ninth in the women’s 400m freestyle in 4:28.49, while Tom Beeley was 10th in the men’s 400m in 4:09.94.
Adam Chillingworth reached the B 100m breaststroke where he came fourth in 1:03.57.
