PLYMOUTH’S David King claimed two big scalps on his way to taking second place in the 110m hurdles at the Manchester Great CityGames on Friday night.
King finished ahead of Great Britain team-mate and world indoor champion Andy Pozzi and also America’s 2012 Olympic champion Aries Merritt.
Poland’s World University Games bronze medallist Damian Czykier won in 13.67 seconds, with King clocking 13.83 to take second. Pozzi took third at the street venue in 13.90, with Merritt hitting a host of hurdles to finish fourth in 14.34.
