CITY of Plymouth’s Ashley Smith continued his dominance of the 2017 Armada Summer 5k Series on Wednesday night.
Smith completed his fourth consecutive victory in the monthly run around the grounds of Saltram House.
He now just needs two more wins in August and September to complete a clean sweep.

Second place went to Plymouth Harriers’ Steve Fletcher, who clocked 17.20, with Lucas Lapthorn third in 17.37.
City of Plymouth’s Poppy Tank, home for the summer from university in America, was fourth overall and first women.
She clocked an impressive 17.39 minutes, which was more than half-a-minute quicker than she had run last month when she also finished as first women.
Tom Lapthorn was fifth overall in 17.47, with Plymstock veteran Graham Bale sixth in 17.55 and Tavistock youngster Will Dax seventh in 18.09.
Erme Valley Harriers’ Emma Lake was second women home on Wednesday night in 20.47, with Freya Carlson third in 21.18. July’s race saw 200 finishers, which was 40 more than last month.
