Plymouth’s Pillage will be looking for more World Cup success in Hungary

PLYMOUTH’S Myles Pillage will be hoping for more international success when he competes in his third UIPM World Cup event next week in Hungary.

The 19-year-old former Plymouth College head boy claimed his first World Cup medal in the last leg in Cairo when he took silver in the mixed relay with Joanna Muir (pictured above).

The pair will again team up for Great Britain in the relay event on the final day of the competition in Kexskemet on May 8.

Pentathlon GB are sending a squad of seven to Hungary. The women’s team is made up Muir, Kate French, Samantha Murray and Summers, with Jamie Cooke and Sam Curry joining Pillage on the men’s side.

The first event will be the women’s individual qualification on May 4.

Pillage made his World Cup debut in February at the opening leg in Los Angeles.
