UP-AND-COMING divers from around the country will descend on Plymouth this weekend for the annual Armada Cup.

The long-standing event is one of the biggest on the diving calendar and will run from Saturday through to Tuesday.

The competition comes just a week after the Life Centre held the National Cup.

A number of divers who took part in last week’s top senior event are set to be in action again at the Armada Cup, including Plymouth’s Matthew Dixon, Aidan Heslop and Cody Powell-Tuckett.

Plymouth Diving will have a large team in action at home event. Among the other clubs competing are Crystal Palace, Edinburgh, Southampton, Shamrock, Amersham, Luton, Harrogate, Aberdeen, Star DC, Corby, Southend, Cambridge and Albatross DC.
