PLYMOUTH Mayflower Specials swimmers Cameron Harris and Abi Daly returned with a haul of medals from the Special Olympics National Summer Games in Birmingham.
Competitors could only take part in three individual events and one relay, and Cameron and Abi medalled in all their events.
Cameron won the men’s 100m freestyle and came second in the 50m and 200m freestyle events, while Abi took victory in the women’s 100m butterfly, picked up a silver in the 200m freestyle and won a bronze in the 100m freestyle.
The pair then teamed up with two swimmers from Dorset to form a South West side for the 4x25m freestyle relay, which they won with the Plymouth pair swimming the last two legs to lead the team to victory ahead of Wales.
