Plymouth Devils lose at home to Somerset after final heat decider

Devils arenaPLYMOUTH Devils put up spirited performance before being beaten 47-43 following a final heat decider in Saturday’s Premier League match at the St Boniface Arena.

It proved to be a closely contested contest with never more than four points separating the sides.

Jack Holder led the way for the Devils with 10 points and was well supported by skipper Kyle Newman and Stefan Nielsen with nine points each.

It was the third home league defeat of the season for the Devils, who are away to Edinburgh this Friday and then round off their season with home matches against Newcastle (Friday September 9) and Scunthorpe (Saturday September 17).
