THE Paul Lethbridge Memorial Day takes place on Sunday at Weston Mill.
It is the fourth year the event has been held in memory of former Plymouth Combination player Paul Lethbridge, who sadly died in 2013 at the age of just 47.
The day involves Lethbridge’s former clubs Old Techs, Tamar Saracens and DHSOB all playing each other in a round-robin competition. Half of each side’s squad has to be over-35.
This year’s event, which is expected to be the biggest yet, also includes an under-11s rugby festival, which starts at 11.30am. The adult matches will follow afterwards.
There will also be a hog roast and bouncy castle at Weston Mill to help make a family atmosphere.
Last year the event helped raise £1,500 which was put back into local rugby via Old Techs, Tamar Saracens and DHSOB.
