THE popular Armada Autumn Trail run will take place on Sunday, September 11, at Newnham Park (10.30am).
The eight-mile multi-terrain race was revived last year by the Armada Athletics Network and attracted more than 250 runners, with Tavistock’s Neil Barkell claiming victory.
Many youngsters also took place in the one-mile adventure fun run.
However, organisers would love the 2016 event to be even more popular.
The course takes runners over trails, tracks, grass areas, woodlands and water crossings. It is the same course as the old Frank Elford Sports Autumn Trail run followed.
The main race is by pre-entry only, so runners wanting to experience one of the best trail runs in the area need to apply quickly.
An entry form is available HERE, while online entries can be completed HERE
Fun run entries will be accepted on the day. That race starts at 9.45am.
