Summer ends successful competition for Plymouth Diving

SUMMER RADCLIFFE claimed another gold medal as Plymouth Diving rounded off a successful Armada Cup on Tuesday.

Radcliffe had already topped the podium in the E/D girls’ three-metre event and one-metre synchro and claimed a bronze in the one-metre individual, but she ended a successful four days at the Life Centre by winning the five-metre event.

The Plymouth Diving youngster scored 113.20 to take victory ahead of Southend’s Jessie Millham (110.30).

There was also medals on the final day of the top age group competition for fellow Plymouth divers Ben Armitage, Alex Kostove and Oscar Piper.

Armitage secured bronze in the boys’ C three-metre event, while Kostov was also third in the men’s one-metre event. Kostov just edged out his Plymouth Diving colleague Harry Mason for third.

Piper won silver in the boys’ E/D three-metre final. He scored 106.90, with team-mate Euan McCabe fifth with 92.90.
