THE second race in the Frank Elford Sports Westward Cross Country League takes place on Sunday at Newquay Sports Centre.
This weekend’s event is incorporating the Cornwall AA County Championships so, apart from the under-17 age group, girls and boys races will be run separately.
The under-13 girls will get the day underway, will their race starting at 1pm.
Fifteen minutes later the under-13 boys will go off, followed at 1.30pm by the senior women and under-17 girls and boys, who will all run 5,580km.
The under-11 girls’ race will start at 2pm, with the boys in that age group going at 2.15pm.
The under-15 girls head off at 2.30pm, 20 minutes ahead of the boys, with the senior and under-20 men going at 3.10pm. They will run 9,480km.
