PLYMOUTH Tri Club’s Fin Saunders claimed victory in the Palm Tree Sprint Triathlon on Sunday.

Saunders held off the challenge of Ben Hicks to win by four seconds in the event at Goodrington Sands in Torbay.

The city athlete clocked one hour and 36.21 minutes for the event, which featured a 750km sea swim, a 24km bike ride and a 6k run.
