DAVID KING is the second Plymouth athlete to earn an invite to the Anniversary Games at the London Olympic Stadium.
James Arnott had already been pencilled in for Sunday’s IPC Grand Prix event, but now his City of Plymouth AC team-mate King has been added to the 110m hurdles entry for Friday’s IAAF Diamond League competition.
King will come up against some of the world’s best hurdlers at the televised meet.
The 21-year-old, who recently finished fourth at the European Under-23 Championships, tweeted: “So excited to get a late call up for the Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow! Watch on BBC3 from 7pm.”
