PLYMSTOCK teacher Kairn Stone comfortably won the 2015 Plymouth Half Marathon.
The 38-year-old, who competes for Newham & Essex Beagles, led from start to finish.
Stone completed the course in 69 minutes and 47 seconds.
He was nearly five minutes ahead of Mounts Bay’s Neil Eddy (1:14.40) in second.
Tamar Trotters’ Jacob Landers came third in 1:15.22, Southampton’s Richard Waldron fourth (1:15.40) and Neal Russell fifth (1:16.23).
Erme Valley Harriers’ Andy Norris was first over-40 veteran home and eighth finisher overall in 1:18.00. Following him to the line in ninth was Bere Alston’s Ben Neale (1:18.35).
First women was Hayle’s Emma Schuck, who clocked 1:21.52.
Second and first female over-40 was Bristol’s Annabel Granger (1:22.46). Bere Alston’s Rebecca Mingo was third home in 1:27.25.
Tamar Trotters’ Anne Luke was fifth and first female over-55 in 1:30.23.
Nearly 4,000 runners finished the race.
