TAMAR Trotters dominated the Muskies Madness race which returned after a year’s break on Saturday afternoon.
The Saltash-based club filled the top three places and took home the two main prizes.
Oliver Oldfield took victory in the tough off-road race which starts and finishes at Marine Academy and takes athletes down into Ham Woods.
He clocked 40.54 minutes, to finish 14 seconds ahead of his team-mate Luke Attwood, who clocked 41.08 minutes to take second place.
In third spot overall – and finishing easily as first woman – was Tamar Trotters’ Bex Ezra-Ham, who clocked 41.38 minutes. That was a faster time than she ran when the race was last held in 2023, where she also came third overall and first woman.
Fourth overall and third man on Saturday was City of Plymouth’s Matthew Bradley (41.52), with Ben Austin finishing fifth (42.17).
Storm Plymouth’s Lauren Knox was second woman in 46.42 minutes, with Teignbridge Trotters’ Helen Anthony third and first F45 in 48.47 minutes. Storm’s Lisa West was fourth woman, with Teignbridge’s Tracy Elphick fifth.
