Supporters can vote for their Argyle player of the season

PLYMOUTH Argyle Ladies are offering fans the chance to vote for their supporters’ player of the year award.

Argyle’s season came to an early end due to the coronavirus when they were sitting in fourth sport in the FA National Women’s League Southern Premier Division.

The Pilgrims were looking like title challengers until January when they lost a host of their first choice players in a mad three-week period.

As well as the supporters’ player of the year, manager Dave Leonard will also have to select his player of the season.

“There are three or four who were in the running,” said Leonard.  “After each game I would give players a mark out of 10 for their performances and at the end of the season I was surprised how close it was.”

Any supporters wanting to vote for their player of the year have until May 1 to do and can do so at https://surveymonkey.co.uk/r/898XPSG
