PLYMOUTH Harriers’ popular Six Moor Mile race which was scheduled for Sunday morning has been postponed.
Organisers made the decision after the Met Office issued a weather warning for the area.
The off-road race starts and finishes on Dartmoor at Yelverton and takes runners around the Maristow Estate.
In a post race director Hollie Baxter said: “Unfortunately due to the extreme weather conditions/weather warnings forecast for tomorrow on Dartmoor, Plymouth Harriers have taken the decision to postpone 6 Moor Miles until further notice.
“This decision was not taken lightly and takes into consideration the safety of all concerned in this race.
We will be back in touch regarding the new date shortly. Thanks for all your continued support and patience.”
