PLYMOUTH College pupil Tegan Drew has been selected to compete at the World School Games next month.

The event will take place in Casablanca, Morocco, between May 2 and May 9.

Plymouth Leander swimmer Drew is one of 12 girls selected to represent England Schools. She will compete in the 50m and 100m backstroke events.

Meanwhile, her school colleague Annabel Denton has been selected to represent Pentathlon GB at the Under-19 World Championships in Portugal.

At just 14, Denton is the youngest member of the GB team for the event which starts on April 8.
