THE popular Armada Summer 5k Series returns on Wednesday at Saltram Park.

The Armada Athletics Network organises six timed 5k runs around the National Trust grounds between April and September.

They traditionally take place on the second Wednesday of every month and replace the Winter 3k Series in Central Park.

Last year’s Saltram runs proved very popular and organisers will be hoping the 2017 series will be equally as successful.

Wednesday’s run starts at 7pm, with registration open from 6.15pm.

The run is open to anyone of any ability, providng they are over the age of 11 years-old.
