TORBAY veteran Peter Monaghan claimed victory in the Mad March Hare 10k on Sunday.
The 52-year-old saw off the challenge of Plymouth Harriers’ Steve Fletcher and Hamish Gallagher.
Monaghan finished the race, which takes athletes around the Saltram estate, in 36.32 minutes.
Fletcher, 26, took second in 37.18, with over-40 veteran Gallagher clocking 37.29.
Gary Montford (38.45) and Pete Moon (39.33) were fourth and fifth.
Looe Pioneers’ Joanne Robinson was first women. She clocked 46.21, with Sara Tapp second in 46.37 and Zoe Chapman third in 47.02.
