UNIVERSITY of Plymouth athlete Jordan Blair was first home in February’s Armada 3k Series run on Wednesday night.

Blair, who also runs for City of Plymouth AC, clocked 9.55 minutes for the run around Central Park, which was 27 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.

Tamar Trotters’ Simon Yeo was second in 10.22, with Birchfield’s Daniel Watling third in 12.26 and the Plymouth Harriers’ duo of Steve Fletcher and Alex Peyton-Jones fourth and fifth in 10.31 and 10.32, respectively.

Jane Allison, of Plymouth Harriers, was first women to finish in 11.42, with Plymouth Tri Club’s Nicola Noble second in 12.16 and Erme Valley youngster Olivia Travers third in 12.35.

An impressive turnout for the penultimate run in the series saw 161 finishers.
