PLYMSTOCK Albion Oaks hooker Harvey Dunn scored Devon Under-16 A side’s two tries in their 29-15 defeat to Somerset at Keyham on Sunday.
Devon had plenty of chances in the match, but only the powerful Dunn was able to cross the whitewash.
Both his tries came in the final 15 minutes of the match after the Green and Whites had gone 29-3 down.
Devon, though, did win the B match 29-24 between the two counties.
The home side led 24-0 at the break with tries by Daichi Budiman, Oliver Baumber, Jamie Blatchford and Toby Goatman.
Somerset responded with a converted try after the interval before Devon crossed the whitewash again through Joe Stansfield to make it 29-7.
Devon then took their foot of the gas and Somerset scored three late tries, including one with the last play of the match.
Both Devon sides featured a number of players from the Plymouth and district area.
