Devon’s A team, captained by Plymstock Albion Oaks’ Jake Bond, triumphed 38-5, while the B side won 27-0.

Flanker Bond was among the A team’s try scorers. He went over for their second touch-down on 15 minutes after Topsham’s Will Kennaugh had given the hosts the lead nine minutes earlier.

Alex Rowe scored a third for Devon on 17 minutes before Ivybridge winger Jamie Moore showed his amazing pace to add a fourth on the stroke of half-time to make it 26-0.

Devonport Services’ centre Archie Hill added a try and conversion after the interval before Cornwall responded with a deserved score in the corner.
