THE popular Muskies Madne5.5 race takes place on Saturday evening (6pm).

The multi-terrain undulating run on woodland tracks, riverside paths and roadside pavements starts and finishes at Kings Tamerton Community Centre.

Last year 225 athletes completed the race, which was won by Tavistock’s Neil Barkell.

The race limit for 2016 is 300 and providing that mark is not reached then entries will be available on the day.
