THE second race in the Armada Summer 5k Series takes place on Wednesday night at Saltram Park.

The Armada Network runs six races around the National Trust property on the second Wednesday of each month between April and September.

The runs are open to anyone of any standard, providing they are over the age of 11. The cost of each run is £2.50.

The race starts at 7pm, but registration must be completed by 6.45pm.

Plymouth Harriers’ Chris Aldridge was first home in April’s run, finishing ahead of Torbay’s Pete Monaghan.
