Plymouth’s Vincent wins gold for Great Britain in Edinburgh

PLYMOUTH Diving’s Victoria Vincent won gold for Great Britain at the Seven Nations Youth Diving Meet in Edinburgh.

Competing in the pool where she made her senior international debut in 2014 at the Commonwealth Games, Vincent took victory in the girls’ B three-metre event.

Vincent, who does not turn 15 until next month, scored 384.30 points to finish more than 40 points ahead of Germany’s Lena Hentschel, who took second with 340.65.

Italy’s Chiara Pellacani was third with a score of 331.00.
