Plymouth’s Bryson to make her senior international modern pentathlon debut

kerenza BrysonPLYMOUTH’S Kerenza Bryson will make her senior international modern pentathlon debut on Saturday in a world-ranking event in Switzerland.

The 17-year-old, who finished 11th in last year’s World Youth A Championships in Argentina, will compete for Great Britain at the Swiss Women’s International in Bern.

She is joined in the four-strong national squad by fellow debutant Charlie Follett, 18.

Bryson has started 2016 in good form. She came fifth in the first senior ranking competition of 2016 and followed that up with a second place finish at the GB Youth International which was held in Solihull earlier this month. She was Britain’s top finisher in that event.

Joining her and Follett in the GB team for the Swiss International will be defending champion Jo Muir, 21, and Eilidh Prise.
