ELBURTON Villa under-13s will be looking for Devon Cup glory on Friday night when they take on Ashburton Acorns at Newton Abbot (7.30pm).

Villa eased through the first three rounds of the county competition but then had to come from three goals down in the quarter-finals to beat Alphington.

They then needed penalties to see off Bideford Blues in the semi-final.

Ashburton, who play in the South Devon Pioneer League, beat Marjons 8-1 in the semis, having overcome Marine Academy Juniors in the previous round.

Villa will be without influential captain Bailey Roberts, who recently broke his ankle.

Entry into the final at the Devon FA headquarters is £3.50 for adults and £1.50 for concessions, with 50p going to Brain Tumour Research, which is the chosen charity of the Devon FA this season.
