PLYMOUTH Combination clubs will be well represented in Devon’s team for their crucial group match against Berkshire at Keyham on Sunday in the National Under-20 Championship (2.30pm).

The Green and Whites lost their opening Pool 4 clash with Gloucestershire 30-15 at the same venue earlier this month.

Berkshire, meanwhile, caused a surprise by beating Cornwall 19-7 at home in their opening match.

It means Devon really need to win on Sunday to have any hope of progressing to the knockout stages.

Plymouth Albion lock Jim Massey (pictured above) will once again start for Devon. He will line-up alongside his University of St Mark and St John team-mate Matt Hanford, who comes in for his debut. Hanford has also been training with Albion.

Ivybridge’s Damon Akerman will start at full-back, having been on the bench against Gloucesershire. He is joined in the team by his Cross-in-Hand team-mates Billy Pinkus, Sean Harrison and Joe Walker.

Devonport Services’ Joe Daley, Tyler Busfield, Luke Stannard and Sam Luke are all named on the bench, while Saltash’s Dom Mulberry is a reserve.
