TAVISTOCK Athletic Club’s Tess Masselink produced a strong run to claim a bronze medal at the Southern Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill on Saturday.

The Callington Community College pupil finished behind Thurrock’s Gemma Holloway and Kingston’s Phoebe Law in the under-20 women’s race in London.

Holloway won in 22.26, with Law clocking 22.33 and Masselink coming home in 22.51.

No other runners went under 23 minutes for the muddy course.
