PLYMOUTH Harriers’ Ami Yetton and Jane Allison were the top two females home in the annual Cockington Christmas Caper on Saturday.
Yetton won the tough off-road race, which is approximately eight miles around Cockington Country Park in Torbay. She clocked one hour, nine minutes and 18 seconds to finish 15th overall.
Allison was not far behind in second with a time of 1:10.27. She was first over-40 female home.
Poole’s Helen Dyke was third female in 1:11.11.
Erme Valley Harriers’ Allister Bristow took third place in the men’s race behind Torbay’s Arran Tocknell and Lee Turner.
Tocknell won in 1:01.23, Turner was second with 1:01.40 and Bristow, who was first over-40, finished in 1:02.54.
