Albion forced to postpone development match with Taunton

Graham DawePLYMOUTH Albion’s director of rugby Graham Dawe is disappointed the club have been forced to postpone their development match with Taunton A.

The game was due to be played at Brickfields this evening, but heavy rain overnight has left the pitch heavy and the club do not want to take any risks with a home league match coming up on Saturday against Ampthill.

“It is disappointing having to call the game off but the weather forecast for the remainder of the week is not great and we don’t want to put Saturday’s league game in jeopardy,” said Dawe.

“We are looking to arrange it for next Tuesday.”

Albion’s pitch has not fully recovered from the Darlington Mowden Park match.
