PLYMOUTH Albion have confirmed that former chairman Graham Stirling has stepped down from the club’s board.
When the previous board resigned at the start of February after Albion came within hours of going into administration, Stirling stayed on to oversee the transition of club.
But new chairman Peter Vosper confirmed in his programme notes on Saturday that Stirling had now left the board, but would continue to support the club in other ways.
Vosper wrote: “I would like to thank Graham Stirling for all his work to ensure the handover went smoothly.
“Graham leaves the board but will continue to support the club in many ways in the future.”
Stirling was chairman of Albion for eight years.
