PLAY-OFF chasing Plymouth Devils face a Berwick side missing two of their top three riders in Friday’s Premier League match at the St Boniface Arena (7.15pm).
The Bandits will operate rider replacement for Swedish rider Mathias Thornblom, who is withholding his services, and have called up Somerset’s Richie Worrall in place of injured Dane Claus Vissing.
Vissing’s fellow Dane Thomas Jorgensen is set to return from injury at number one and the Berwick top five will be completed by experienced Australian Kevin Doolan and Swede Anders Mellgren.
At reserve will be Yorkshireman Richard Hall and Coty Garcia, a 21-year-old from Argentina.
Plymouth co-promoter Ashley Taylor said: “We need to take maximum points from our final two home matches against Berwick and Scunthorpe.
“That will then leave us needing four points from the remaining away fixtures against Scunthorpe and Rye House, to get into the top six and reach the play-offs.”
Plymouth: Ryan Fisher, Morten Risager, Jack Holder, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Newman. Reserves: Sam Simota, Linus Eklof
Berwick: Thomas Jorgensen, rider replacement for Mathias Thornblom, Richie Worrall, Anders Mellgren, Kevin Doolan. Reserves: Coty Garcia, Richard Hall.
