PLYMOUTH’S Travis Bramley continued his impressive year by winning the youth category at the London Triathlon.
The Ivybridge Community College pupil and Plymouth Tri Club member triumphed by eight seconds.
He finished the event, held in the London Docks, in a time of 35.47 minutes, with Cameron Main second in the 35.55 and James Chantler-Mayne third in 36.28.
Bramley clocked 6.19 minutes for the swim, 16.32 for the bike ride and 9.29 for the run.
His London victory means he will be crowned British Youth Super Series champion as no-one can overtake him now after his recent victory at the British Triathlon Championships in Liverpool and in British Aquathlon Championship in Hyde Park.
The London Triathlon is one of the biggest in the world and attracts more than 13,000 competitors and 30,000 spectators.
